Charles is a 3rd generation Blacksmith with over 30 years experience as an Agricultural Blacksmith,Farrier and General Smith.He works in a recently converted workshop using traditional coke fire and anvil
He no longer shoes horses for a living ,but concentrates on Decorative and Functional Ironwork,as well as the more traditional Firegrates and Firedogs.
At the Forge you will find a range of work available to view and for sale:ideal for wedding/birthday gifts to last a lifetime.Napkin Rings to Candlesticks,Curtain Poles to Wine racks-----or commission a piece of work/masterpiece of quality.Commissions always welcome
The Forge is open Monday -Friday 9am -5pm
Saturday 9am-12 noon
Sunday by appointment only please
If you are some distance away it is wise to ring before visiting,as I may have to be out fitting work.
